Canadian Tire quoted me 0 for the transmission flush because they said my car takes 12L of transmission fluid, and they charge /1L of fluid.
And if you are searching high and low for some answers you just got one. This is by far the best fluid I have ever used it is the consistency of watered down gear oil and boy what a difference in the shift quality. Is is so smooth it feels like a new tranny, seriously its that good. Sorry ATF you do not belong in a manual transmission.

However, now at Canadian Tire, they don’t sell the genuine Honda fluid anymore, and the guy there sold me this OEM fluid. Nov 25, 2009 · Well said. And you’re right, the fluid shouldn’t need to be changed until 200,000 km, depending on driving conditions. If Mr. Lube told you to change the fluid, they were basing this on conventional transmission, so chances are you don’t need to replace the fluid anyway.
